The ad-free FCC Mobile Speed Test App provides two distinct testing options: Challenge Speed Tests and Crowdsource Speed Tests.

Challenge Speed Tests allow you to contest the coverage reported by your provider on the National Broadband Map. Accumulation of a sufficient number of "failed" tests in a specific area and at varied times triggers the formation of a challenge, mandating a response from the provider and potential corrections on the Map.

Crowdsource Tests contribute to FCC's assessment of mobile coverage nationwide and validation of the National Broadband Map's precision.

• Access test outcomes in the History section.
• Save and export results as a CSV file on your device or email them to yourself as a ZIP file.
